THANK GOODNESS SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!
This is a view overlooking our orchard taken on Tuesday this week. Doesn't it just look lovely!
It's been a little cool in Alton for a week or so now but there have been plenty of sunny spells to enjoy. On Saturday last weekend a couple of brave visitors saw the sun and went out to Alton Towers for the day in shorts and T-shirts. What a mistake, the weather was fine but pretty cool. Sunday morning was a different story, the same folk arrived to breakfast in jeans and sweatshirts!
I am sure I will have mentioned before that there are lambs in the field across the valley from us. They are just gorgeous! Here is a picture we took of them last week, they are in fine voice and growing fast!
